Track+ Dashboard Development Kit
You can extend Track+ in various ways, without having to change the Track+ software itself. One extension point is the cockpit. You can develop your custom cockpit view, and it is not even difficult if you know how to develop software in Java.
Cockpit views consist of at least one Java source file, and two Freemarker template files that determine the appearance. One file is for the regular view, and the second is for the configuration view.
The nice thing about cockpit views is that most administrative functionality like placing them in the proper place on the cockpit or dashboard is already taken care of by the Track+ framework. You develop your view using the dashboard development kit provided below. This will create a JAR file which you deposit into the lib directory of your Track+ application on the server. After a server restart your new view can be placed on your cockpit.
Below you find two sample views, as included within the Track+ Dashboard Development Kit.
