Track+ Downloads

You are welcome to download and use Track+ as long as you wish. There is no catch. For commercial use with more than 5 users you need to buy the full version license. There is no functional difference between the free version and the commercial Enterprise version.

Release 3.7.5 build 17 as of 7.7.2010

The software works as downloaded for five users. Registration is not required. For free support turn to the help forum. If you require more users to test the software send us a short note. We will send you a license key free of any obligation.

The webservice interface is fully supported with this version (Trackmylyn). Please report any anomalities on the Track+ forum.

Resources for Developers

Track+ can be extended and customized by software developers in various ways, without having to change the Track+ software itself:

1. You can create your own cockpit views, using the dashboard development kit.
2. You can create your own report templates, including completely new report datasources.
3. You can add your own version control system plugin, for example for ClearCase or Perforce.
4. You can create your own webservice clients, using the Track+ webservice interface.

For Eclipse users, there is a powerful Eclipse Mylyn plugin for Track+ available.

Windows Installer

You need to download either the Windows installer or the WAR-file binary package and the database package. The EAR file is for full blown application servers. Installation using the Windows installer is quite is easy:

1. Install a Java Runtime Environment version 1.5 or up (called JRE 5.0).
2. Execute the installer.

The installer handles upgrades from previous installer based release automatically. If you have a non-installer installation, you should not use the Windows installer for an upgrade. In this case please follow the instructions in the release notes.

Custom or Unix Installation

If you want to use a different database, application server or operating system, installation is not difficult either:

1. Setup your database server
2. Download the Database Package and use the scripts for your RDBMS to create the Track+ schema and initialize it
3. Setup your application server
4. Download the Binary and drop it into the deployment directory of your application server
5. Change one configuration file to set your RDBMS connection
