Track+ ReportStudio

In Track+, you can create printable reports from a set of issues. You obtain the set of issues either from one of the predefined filters, or your own custom filters.

The reports are based on templates. The templates contain the graphical and logical layout of your report, and are filled with real data from your issue set when you run the report. A number of templates come with Track+ out of the box, but most likely you may want to create your own reports, including your company logo and such.

Track+ ReportStudio permits you to easily create your own report templates, which you can then upload to the Track+ server and use them there. Track+ ReportStudio is a Java application which runs on your local computer. It is based on iReport by JasperSoft and covered by the GNU Public License. 

In case you feel you can't create your report from the existing data sources, you may want to consider creating your own report data source and views. For this you need some programming experience in Java. To get started download the Track+ Report Plug-In Development Kit.

Report Templates

Below you find a selection of ready to use report templates which you can upload to your Track+ server, or use as a base for customization.

Description	Target Format	Preview
Issues grouped by release A simple issue list, grouped by releases. Demonstrates a number of template style features (e.g. overdue issues are printed with a date marked red). This template does not include any accounting or history information.
Issues grouped by responsible Another simple issue list, grouped by responsible persons.
With history This is a more complex template, including the full issue history. It uses an XSL style sheet to transform the data before it is being used. Issues that are overdue are marked with a big stamp. Also includes simple accounting information.
Chart by responsible A template drawing a simple pie chart showing the distribution of issues among a number of responsibles.
Simple list This is the most basic template, a simple list that can be used for weekly meetings.
Simple Excel list This template is optimized for Excel output. It does not contain any formatting information except for the heights and widths of the cells, and takes care that there are no spaces which would result in empty cells.
Detailed view without history This template gives you a complete view an all issue attributes, but without issue history. It demonstrates the text formatting features of the report engine.
