Trackplus Software Downloads

Here you can find the Trackplus software plus some extensions and plugins. You may use the fully featured software as long as you like. If you need to support more than 5 users, you need to obtain a commercial licence. In case of questions turn to our support forum. In case you want to test our software with larger user groups, please contact us. We will be glad to provide you with a suitable test license key for 60 days.

Windows Installer 32 and 64 Bit

The Windows installer installs a complete Trackplus server including database system (Firebird) and Apache Tomcat on your Windows system (Windows XP, Windows 7 32 and 64 Bit, Windows 200x Server). To install properly you need administrator rights. There must be a Java Runtime Environment 1.5 or up (JRE 5.0) installed on the server prior to starting the installation process.

 

For a fresh installation or update of an existing, installer based installation just run the installer.

In case you have created an installation without the installer, or you have manually changed the database, the installer cannot update your software.

Linux and Unix

On Linux- or Unix servers you need to install Trackplus manually. Prior to the installation you must create a proper environment:

  • A Java JDK 5.0 or newer. It is important that you use the original by Oracle/Sun!
  • An Apache Tomcat 6.0 or newer as application server
  • A MySQL database (or Oracle, DB2, Postgres, Firebird)
  • Graphviz by AT&T

Thereafter you need to initialize the database using the database scripts. Then you copy the WAR file into the Tomcat "webapps" directory and configure the database connection. You may find detailed instructions in the installation manual in the Trackplus documentation area. The EAR file you only need if you are using another application server like JBoss or Bea Weblogic.
