Which version is suitable for me?

The Allegra Standard version covers all the features you can expect from an excellent issue tracking system or task management software.

The Allegra Professional version greatly simplifies configuration. You can, for example, reconfigure all projects of a certain type from one place. You can nest projects and tasks as deep as you like (not just one layer, real work breakdown structure). So you can work agile in one part of a project and in another classically. You can also manage project portfolios. You can delegate tasks and set personal resubmit appointments. The sophisticated Automail system allows you to specify exactly when you want to be notified by the system, without unnecessary emails.

The Allegra Enterprise version is what you need when you require singly or in combination:

  • Project management with Gantt charts and resource planning
  • Helpdesk functionality with as many free clients as you need
  • A knowledge base or wiki

Can I combine different license models?

You can combine user tiers of the Allegra Professional version with user tiers of the Allegra Enterprise version. The Allegra Standard version can not be combined with other licensing models.

Can I try before I buy?

To try if Allegra meets your requirements you can either download the software and install it on your own server or we give you a complete ready to use installation in our cloud.  We give you up to one hour personal support to help you with the system configuration. You can test up to 30 days. If  you need more assistance we can help you for a fee of 60 USD/€ per 30 minutes. If you require more time to test you can rent the software for the cloud solution price for another 30 days.

Does my license include support and new versions?

The license includes support and new versions for the first 12 months. Thereafter, you can extend support and maintenance services for 50% of the then valid purchase price by 12 months.

What does Standard Support mean?

You get a contact person with whom you can communicate via email or our service portal.

What does Premium Support mean?

You get a personal contact person with whom you can communicate via web meetings.

What is "onboarding"?

In a personal web meeting, we will configure the system with you according to your needs. You will learn the concepts and procedures so that you are capable of changing your configuration on your own. The onboarding package of 3 hours is covered  by the license fees starting with the Enterprise tier of 16 users.

How can I expand my user tier?

You can always increase your number of users to a higher user tier. If you have an active maintenance contract, the cost will be the difference between the price for the new user tier and the price for your current user tier. In addition, there is a maintenance fee of 50% of the cost of the original license volume. This gives you 12 months of support and maintenance for all licenses.

Is there an HA/cluster option?

In the Enterprise version the application can be distributed for HA or Load Balancing, across multiple servers or containers. Each additional instance is charged with a surcharge of 30% of the base price.

Where is my data stored?

Our servers are in Germany and are subject to the German data protection regulations. Upon request, you will receive from us a data protection agreement in accordance with Art. 28 DS-GVO.

Can I move my data to a self-hosted server later on?

You can move your data to a self-hosted server any time. You receive from us an archive file, which you import into your target system.

What does Standard Support mean?
