Manage Priorities

You can use priority to represent how urgent an item is. But you can also use it to express the importance of an item. Using priorities is particularly useful for unplanned items, that is, items that do not have deadlines. Priorities, together with the impact, can be used to implement the Eisenhower principle.

You must be logged in as a system manager or system administrator.

This is where you can manage the globally available priorities. In the configuration of the workspace types (see Workspace Types), you can define which priorities are available in a workspace.

  • Go to Administration > Customize > Lists > Global Lists > Priority

  • You can now change, add or delete a priority. You can assign an icon (16 x 16 px, GIF, SVG or PNG format) to each entry. You can also assign a CSS style to each item, which is used to format items in the Item Navigator.

Attention

When you rename an entry, the change may not be visible in the user interface. This happens if you have specific localizations for the selection entries, which is the case for all predefined entries. In this case, the localized values are displayed instead and not the label that you define here.
