Change Cockpit Layout

The user-specific cockpit summarizes all important information about all workspaces that interest a user. Each user can freely choose the tiles to be displayed and their position.

Note

All changes to the cockpit are immediately saved in the database. As system administrator, you can save cockpits as templates and assign these templates to users.

  1. On the Cockpits page, click the “Configure Cockpit” button in the upper left corner.

  2. The screen changes and a list of all available tiles appears on the right side.

  3. Use the icons on the top left to add or remove tabs and panels. To remove an item, first select it by clicking on it. To change an item position, drag it to the new position.

  4. For labeling tabs, select each tab and then type the desired label in the box to the right, in the field named “Label”.

  5. Tiles are always placed on panels. You can specify the number of grid positions for each panel by selecting it and then entering the number of rows and columns in the box, in the fields named “Rows” and “Columns”.

  6. You can place tiles on panels by dragging them from the box at the bottom right to the desired grid position. You can move tiles by dragging them to their new position.

When you are finished, press the “Back” icon on the toolbar.

You will be then returned to the regular view of the cockpit page. You will now be able to see your newly designed layout.
